This past weekend marked the final hurrah at the hallowed "Big Apple" - downtown haven for a bunch of Ryerson students and their peers for the better part of five years. It was a festive occasion, as dozens of people came out to bid this fine venue adieu.
On behalf of everyone who's enjoyed the hospitality at the Big Apple, I'd like to give a huge shout-out to the stellar hosts Kearnesy, Thrasher, Joey and Woodsy. Thanks for the great times y'all. My eardrums and liver are worse off for spending so much time there, but it couldn't have been funner.
Posted by waub at May 31, 2004 04:51 PMFor those not at the grand finale, you missed Mr. Rice's 'Hall of Fame' keg stand... a key part of the keg stand is holding on to the keg.. some how that point slipped past our beloved Waubber.... And for those of us in a small loop of douche bags, this was only one highlight in an evening full of MVP efforts... many others took place... most notably may be a 'B&E' in search of a bed to pass out in...
All in All, the swan song was on par with the history the venue has earned... One downer was definately the lack of Joey Sadler... and the presence of Kearnesy.. he sucks
Thanks for the Memories...
